Privacy Policy

Valedo is a shared shopping and to-do list service operated by Urgify, Co. ("we" or "us"). This policy applies to valedo.app and the Valedo iOS and Android apps.

What we collect

We collect your account details, such as your name, email address or phone number, sign-in details, and profile photo; the content and settings you create, such as your lists, items, item photos, reminders, and preferences; who you share lists with and the invites you send or receive; and a notification token for your device if you allow notifications.

If you use the microphone button to speak a list or item name, your phone's own speech recognition turns it into text. We receive the text, not an audio recording.

If you send a message through the contact form, we receive your name, email address, message, IP address, approximate location, browser and device details, and whether you were signed in, so we can reply and understand the report. We strip markup and similar code from the message, email a copy to support, and keep a copy in our support inbox.

The website stores your sign-in token and language choice in your browser so you stay signed in and keep your settings. If you opt in, we also use Google Analytics to see how the site is used. Analytics is off unless you accept it.

How we use it

We use this information to run Valedo: your account, lists, reminders, invites, and verification or password-reset messages, and to improve the Service. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share with

People you invite to a list can see that list and what you add to it. Companies that host Valedo and send email, SMS, or (if you opted in) analytics receive only what they need to provide those services. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users, or the public. If our business is sold or transferred, account information may transfer with it.

How long we keep it

We keep your account, lists, and the photos you attach until you delete your account in Profile. Deleting your account removes them from Valedo, though copies may remain in our backups for a limited period. We may also keep information where we need it to meet a legal obligation or resolve a dispute. If you accept analytics, analytics cookies may be used until you decline or clear them.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, but no website or app can be completely secure and we cannot guarantee the security of your information. Use a strong password and tell us if you think your account has been used by someone else.

Your choices

You can decline analytics. In Profile you can update your details, change your password, or delete your account. Step-by-step deletion instructions: Delete your Valedo account. You can turn notifications off in your device settings.

Children

Valedo is for people 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
